A New Lions Club, joining the proud 100 Year + Tradition of LIONS all over the world. Our club meets twice a month. Once via Zoom, and once in person. We accept Members from Anywhere in the World who wish to join our Zoom meetings.

Globally, it is estimated that 400,000+ new cases of cancer affect children each year; however, this number may be vastly underestimated due to large numbers of undiagnosed cases.
In 2021, 529 million people worldwide were living with diabetes, which is 6.1% of the global population. This number is projected to increase to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045. 96% of all diabetes cases are type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is a major cause of blindness, kidney failure.
There are 1.1 billion people around the world living with the consequences of sight loss, mostly because they do not have access to eye care services and assistive products. Most people affected by sight loss live in low- and middle-income settings with sight loss due to avoidable causes.
The world hunger crisis is affecting 828 million people every day, and 29.6% of the global population, or 2.3 billion people, don't have adequate access to food. It's estimated that over 40% of the 828 million people who go hungry every day are facing acute levels of hunger. The UN estimates that 25,000 people, including more than 10,000 children, die from hunger and related causes each day
Damaged ecosystems exacerbate climate change, undermine food security and put people and communities at risk. Around 3.2 billion people, or 40 percent of the global population, are adversely affected by land degradation. Up to $577 billion in annual global crop production is at risk from pollinator loss.
